Dr. David Greengart,MD, FACEP
As a board-certified physician with over 13 years of emergency medicine experience, Dr. Greengart has seen first-hand how opiate addiction has destroyed the lives of so many. He has seen patients who WANT to get well, and get clean, but are unable to do so on their own. As opiate abuse and addiction has reached epidemic proportions in this country, Dr. Greengart has established the Midwest Health Center to provide a safe place where opiate addicts, and others struggling with opiate abuse and misuse, can get help. He is passionate about his desire to help his patients get well, and to enrich and enhance their lives while getting and staying sober.

Alexis Strange, APRN, MSN, FNP-C
Alexis is a family nurse practitioner, board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has worked primarily in emergency medicine now for 9 years, majority of those working alongside Dr. Greengart. She has witnessed first hand the complicated issues surrounding opioid use disorder and has a strong desire to help those wanting to get clean, stay clean, and take back their lives.
Yocheved Witten, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC
Yocheved Witten, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC, is originally from Far Rockaway, NY. She received her nursing degree from NYU College of Nursing. After completing her nursing degree, Yocheved traveled abroad for one year with her husband. While out of the country, Yocheved spent countless hours volunteering at a community hospital, working in many different areas of medicine. After returning to the USA, Yocheved began a graduate program at Walden University where she graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Yocheved’s interests are in family medicine and addiction care. Yocheved has also worked in adult and pediatric family medicine as well as women’s health. After her experience in these various fields of medicine Yocheved’s greatest passion has been being able to connect to her patients and help them improve their health and overall wellness. Here at the Midwest Health Center-St Louis, Yocheved utilizes this passion to help patients take their lives back and build forward to a brighter future!
Linda Kilhoffer, PA-C
Linda is a physician assistant, certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She has worked in emergency medicine for over 30 years, including 10 years as a physician assistant in the Emergency Department. She has witnessed firsthand the complicated issues surrounding opioid use disorder and has a strong desire to help those wanting to get clean, stay clean, and get their lives back on track. Linda completed her ADN degree (RN) studies through Jewish Hospital School of Nursing and her Bachelor in Medical Science (PA) studies through St. Louis University.
Shayna Rockove
Shayna Rockove is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She attended Adelphi University in New York for undergraduate school and worked as a registered nurse until she went back to school for a Masters degree in Nursing at South University in Atlanta, where she is originally from. She has a background in acute Care, post acute care, family medicine, long term care, and hospice Care. Throughout all of her experiences she most enjoys building strong relationships with her patients to help them improve their health and overall wellbeing.
Peretz Shlosberg, MSW, LCSW
Peretz Shlosberg, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Therapist who is originally from Central New Jersey and has been living in the St. Louis area for about 5 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Rutgers University and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Washington University of St. Louis. Peretz has had a wide range of experience in his field including working with children with trauma related symptoms, as well as adolescents and adults who have struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. His interests revolve around bettering a person’s self-perceptions, developing and utilizing a person’s natural skills and abilities, and using wholesome techniques and modalities that can best accommodate a thriving lifestyle. Peretz firmly believes that the most opportune time to move forward in life is now and he is confident that he can help his clients progress positively in that direction!
